Inspired by all the jeans that were to snug. LOL!  Not really but come to think of it I like jeans better in a quilt than as paints.  This one is called our "Burny" quilt.  The back was meant for my friend Bernadette's quilt but I had brought 4 quilts in at the same time and there was a little mix up.
Love the way it turned out!

The Dungerie Quilt

 

 

Today I got to share a quilt(it only took 4 years to finish. LOL!) with a dear friend that has become family. We have known each other for many years.  I had once told her when I spoke with her on the phone that I was making  a jean quilt.  Next thing I knew she had sent me a package of dungarees.  I was inspired to save them and use them in a masterpiece just for her.  She has done so much for us that I wanted to do something special for her.  Today she was up visiting to take care of my kids while I got some much needed time away.  Our 2nd child is currently battling cancer. corbanalexander.blogspot.com
She burst into tears I was really touched that she loved it so much.  We love her that much too!
