It is hard to loose loved ones and watch those we love loose those precious and dear to them. It has almost been 1 year since my cousins Jen and Justin lost there little boy at 6 months of age. His heart loved and touched many.
I wrote this to sort through my own emotions a year ago and the picture of the blanket that my sister and I donated to his hospital in SLC Utah.
November 2007 -Sadness perforates my soul and sleep is so far from possible. I have been walking around the house trying to gather material and supplies for donations to the hospital. I have realized that this is all a mad dash to mask the sadness and grief I feel for this family and sweet little Ian. Too, I want to somehow help find a way to deal with Jen and Justin's loss. Being a parent myself has only made this more real.
There is always more we can do to love and reach out, I hope they will feel that little angel Ian watching over them now.... They are amazing parents and have made us all look at our live and want to be more like them.
