Service

There is so much good to be done in this world.

Anne Frank once said "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."

This was a great event. Fifty women from our Church helped make it all possible. We made and then assembled 53 bags for school kids and finished 9 quilts. (A huge Thank you to Todd's Aunt Sue for her help with the quilt assembly and pattern.)

A Cozy Christmas Quilt

A dear friend gave me some flannel scraps from a great quilt she made. I loved sewing the flannel pieces together. It was so soft! This was what I came up with. Thanks Michelle for the scraps. This is now our family Christmas quilt that may be out all year.  The kids love it.

Service

I was in charge of organizing a service project with a women's organization (Family of Women) that I recently was a part of. We completed 30+ fleece blankets for the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. We sent a note with the blankets sending get well wishing in loving memory of our cousins child Ian Pearson who is now among the angels.
