Gifts from a very very sweet sister!

My sister Brenda is amazing.  She had our family for Christmas this year.  She made all of my kids a quilt.  I was  so excited knowing they were sitting under our tree.  I got chocked up just thinking about how this would be my  favorite part of Christmas.  Handmade with love to bring warmth to not just there bodies but there souls.   It is a symbol of the love that is just for them.  Thank you Brenda.  I love you and the kids are so excited to have blankets with such personality.

UNIQUE

This is a special quilt to me.   This one came with a very strong impression to make for a dear friend.   When I first assembled it I was not sure If I liked it.  I know really love and it was so fun to put it in the mail this weekend to send to my friend.   I was going for an original design that my friend Mike would like.  It had to be edgy and unique.  My quilter Carla outdid herself.  I love how she chose to quilt this. Just perfect!

THE AUNTS

How to you say enough amazing things about these Aunts.  These two are two peas in a pod.  I have wanted to make a quilt for them for a very long time.  I wanted them to know how much their love and support has truly made my life richer and sweeter.  I lost my dad when I was young but will be forever greatful for these awesome sisters he shared with me.  They have tought me to serve others, love with an open heart and without judgment, they have helped me in my journey of motherhood and womenhood.  They have always believed in me.  They are wonderful mentors for my life.  I love you Aunt Virgie and Aunt Ruth!

Crazy Quilt

I have never have had a request to make a quilt for someone. My cousin Trisha wanted one from me. She has a happy and bright personality.  She is in many ways like a little sister to me.  xoxo
